Audio Cables

Audio cables are an integral part of your DJ set-up or home recording studio, yet many DJs or producers fail to pay any attention to what equipment connects to what equipment, let alone how it connects! If you consider the elementary audio signal teaching 'your set-up will only sound as good as the worst part', you'll understand that audio cables can really make a difference. When purchasing an audio cable, there are many different factors that you need to consider too make sure you are going to be getting the best performance from your set-up. With that in mind, all of our cables that we can provide for you are going to do the job to the maximum potential in their price bracket, exceeding the performance of less well-manufactured cables that may be on the market. It is imperative that the resistance is correct for the cable, as this is one easy way of losing performance in your system, which would be down to the cable.

When purchasing an audio cable, there are many different factors that you need to consider too make sure you are going to be getting the best performance from your set-up. You will often that the cable is an afterthought, leaving it as the weakest component of an audio set-up, which in turn is going to drag down the performance that you are looking to achieve.

With that in mind, all of the cables that we can provide for you are going to do the job to the maximum potential in their price bracket, exceeding the performance of less well-manufactured cables that may be on the market. It is imperative that the resistance is correct for the cable, as this is one easy way of losing performance in your system, which would be down to the cable.

The majority of cables will be manufactured using copper, although not exclusively, as some of the higher end cables will be used using silver, due to its higher conductivity properties. On top of this OFC (Oxygen Free Copper), which will again have slightly higher conductivity enabling better performance, although it is debated in the industry whether it is significant enough. As well as this it will be slightly more resistant to corrosion.

Taking all this into consideration, we make sure that all of our Jack cables, mini jack, speakon, XLR and the other items are the best around. IF there is anything else you would like to know, don’t hesitate to call us on 0121 224 7650.
