Pioneer DDJ RB & DDJ RR are the new controllers that Pioneer have launched, specifically for the use of their DVS system, Rekordbox. The previous controllers that they have had on the market, have always been in conjunction with Serato, but with Pioneer fully pushing their own platform Rekordbox, of course it makes sense to revamp the products to work with this. The RB & RR are brothers/sisters/upgrades/whatever to the already popular DDJ SB & DDJ SR that have been out for a while now and of course, there are some cool differences other than just what software that they use.
PIONEER DDJ RB
The entry-level Pioneer DDJ-RB is a USB powered DJ Controller that gives you all thats needed to get started with rekordbox dj performance software. The layout handles like a pro-DJ set-up with play/cue buttons, jog wheels and a VU level meter. The Performance Pads can be used to trigger Hot Cues, Beat Jump, Pad FX and Slicer, plus there’s a button for the new Sequence Call feature. The lightweight, flexible controller supports PC Master Out and is perfect for use on the move.
