Has anyone noticed that Novation has had a bit of a facelift? Gone are the days of grey and orange (what a combo! :/ ), now you'll notice a vibrant and certainly more up-to-date look across the whole brand, giving people a reminder of their quality.
The products themselves, like any other mk2, have had slight adjustments from their predecessors - all for the better of course.
I'll look at the Novation Launchkey today and give you my top 5 reasons why its better than the original.
1 - New, adjustable velocity curves on keys - A BIG plus!
2 - New internal Novation firmware designed and supported in-house.
3 - New additional Ableton controls: Device, Pan, Send A, Send B.
4 - New RGB Launchpad buttons. Again fitting with the new look of the brand, you now get much more colour and vibrancy with the pads. The colour of the pads will also match the colour of your clips.
5 - New, stronger and better built knobs attached to chassis. It honestly feels more like the 'Push' and much more professional than the mk1
The Launchkey is the easiest way to make electronic music on Ableton, with quick integration and control. It also comes with everything that you need to start making music: Ableton Live Lite, Novation Bass Station and V-Station virtual instruments, also a generous 1GB collection of production-ready samples from leading sample store Loopmasters. It’s also bus-powered via USB and class compliant, so making music has never been easier.
We have all of the range in-store, so feel free to come and have a demo of any of the new products. We still have a limited amount of the mk1 products left, so if you want to catch yourself a bargain, check out the price reductions.
