The Details

The DJM-A9 from Pioneer DJ represents the long-awaited evolution of the DJM-900NXS2 that has stood the test of time in clubs around the world, taking its rightful place as king of the 4 channel mixer world in a host of venues.

Change Is A Foot

The DJM-A9 at the core has been redesigned in conjunction with DJs who used the older 900NXS2 or the V10 mixer, by cherry-picking the best bits off both mixers as well as mixers from across the globe to create a unit that simply just makes sense to any DJ who would encounter it.

The sound card is one of the major areas that has been completely redesigned to suit the DJ in 2023 and beyond, with the introduction of ESS 32-bit technology on the A/O and D/A converters that improve sound quality on both the channel and outputs respectively.

A Spacious Look

Pioneer DJ has taken the step to make the footprint of the A9 similar to its bigger brother the V10 (& V10-LF) which creates symmetry in the booth, but without compromising on quality as this time around there is more space on the faceplate meaning everything is in reach without possibly knocking an FX pot or an EQ by accident.

New FX

The DJM-A9 brings a new approach to the FX section which is more in keeping with the V10 as well as offering a simpler, cleaner approach to DJs in the booth. The one encoder knob for channel selection has been replaced with simple buttons and the X-Pad has been simplified to allow for further FX to be added such as Mobius.

The biggest advance on the FX section is the sound colour FX knob which this time features “centre-lock” which gives the DJ an haptic style feeling when they are using the FX akin to a seatbelt meaning you can’t over-cook the FX in the mix, allowing for a more precise control of your sound.

Mic Up

Pioneer DJ has thought of different types of DJ in 2023 as with the rise of live-streaming, the use of mics that need 48v phantom power has grown – which the A9 now matches it with the addition of phantom power as well as 3 new microphone FX that can bring a totally new sound to your set.

Get connected

Connecting the A9 to options couldn’t be simpler, with the RCA, Optical and dual USB sockets being available in any which way you see fit. Add in an all-new Bluetooth option and the possibilities are endless.

Free UK Delivery

Online orders are shipping as normal. DPD have their own arrangements in place to ensure deliveries are as safe as possible (they will sign the hand reader for you). You're also covered by 14 day returns if you change your mind, so order with peace of mind. Our showroom is also now open by appointment only (please call or email us to arrange your visit before travelling).

UK Deliveries

We offer FREE UK delivery on orders over £50. If your order is under £50, feel free to browse for other items to qualify for free delivery (UK mainland as well as Jersey and Guernsey).

Is an item in stock? Please see green text on the product page to check stock status. If an item is not showing as in stock, it will most likely ship within 48 hours, but you can always call us to check on 0121 224 7650. We use several premium couriers to ensure your order arrives safely. Most large orders ship by DPD and smaller items ship by Royal Mail. We use FedEx/TNT for international deliveries.

Tracking details? These will be confirmed by e-mail when your order ships. If you do not receive tracking details by 4:45pm on the day of dispatch, please call us before 5:30pm to check, otherwise you can call us the following morning. Click here to check order tracking. Most shipped items arrive the next working day. Please allow up to 3 working days for deliveries to highlands, Isle of Man and Ireland. 

International Deliveries

VAT and customs charges? VAT is included on all orders shipped within the UK and excluded for orders to Jersey, Guernsey and outside the UK. For countries outside of the UK, you may be liable for customs duties when your order arrives with you and you are responsible for these charges when your order arrives.

Failed deliveries? If you do not receive your order within 5 working days after receiving your tracking details, please contact the courier with the tracking information provided to check if your order is being held. If your order is kept by the courier, not collected and then returned to us, there is a charge for redelivery, so please ensure you contact the courier if you receive a missed delivery slip.
