The Wharfedale KMD-7 drum microphone package from Wharfedale is a high quality 7 piece selection of quality microphones for live or studio applications.

All of the microphones included in the Wharfedale KMD-7 drum microphone package share a durable cast zinc construction, unidirectional polar responses, exceptional feedback rejection, gold-plated XLR connectors as well as dent resistant steel grilles.

Included with in the Wharfedale KMD-7 drum microphone pack are 2x KM3, 1x KM4 and 4x KM5 which provide the ultimate drum microphone solution all protected within a heavy duty foam lined plastic case.

The KM3 is an end address small diaphragm condenser which is intended for use as a drum overhead microphone. However, the KM3 is suitable for numerous applications such as stringed instruments and piano. There are 2 KM3s with the KMD-7 pack for stereo overhead coverage, and they come complete with a rubberised shockmount which ensures that handling noise is minimal.

The KM4 utilise a neodymium magnet which provides incredible low distortion figures at high output levels. Ideally used with kick and tom drums, it is also suitable for use on bass, brass and amplifier cabinets.

The four included KM5 microphones are spring loaded with an adjustable drum rim mounting bracket, ensuring that perfect positioning is attained for snare and tom applications. The intuitive rim mounting ensures the microphone can operate effectively and safely out of the range of sticks and also comes with a cable tidy which ensures wiring is neat, tidy and safe.
